Rachel Parent, a food and environment youth speaker will talk about how every bite of food we eat can either diminish or improve our health and the health of our environment. Food is something we all need every day, and with every meal we have the opportunity to harm or help. From genetic modification, pesticides and herbicides, gene-editing, and toxic ingredients, how can consumers navigate the food system in a positive way? What labelling is real? Is planet-based really healthy and good for the environment? Is gene-editing (new GMO’s) that bad?
